When I was in the 8th grade I vacationed in San Diego, CA and thought to myself - one day I am going to live here. So....when I graduated from high school I applied to go to college at San Diego State University. I packed up my things and moved to the beach! I graduated with a major in communications and a minor in art. I also graduated with a husband that I met along the way. We have been married for 3 years and are living happily ever after. We love hanging out with friends and family, going to the movies, enjoying good music, and having fun! I have always loved to paint and draw...and for the longest time I saw papercrafting as inferior...until I tried it and LOVED IT! It is such a great, compact, creative outlet with endless possibilities! I have traded in the paint brushes and pencils for patterned paper and ribbon...and I have never looked back!

We are blessedly single, both graduates of a Bible College, and own a preschool/daycare together. I am an absolute scrap-a-holic! I love everything about it: shopping, storing and organizing...and, of course, creating! I started scrapping in 2004 after a trip to the Caribbean...all those lovely pictures and memories needed to be preserved, right? Starting with Creative Memories taught me the basics, but I hungered for more creative expression. It was Christmas of 2006 that I discovered the world of online scrapping forums, discovered the galleries filled with wonderful possibilities...and there was no stopping me. I love learning and growing in this craft. I also love sharing it, and teaching it to others. As with every other area of my life, I have dedicated my Scrapbooking to God. The growing move toward faithbooking within the industry has taught and encouraged me to do this...and I love to teach and encourage others to faithbook as well. Right now, I am on staff at the online magazine Scrapbook News and Review, where I have a monthly faithbooking column and am the Card Section Coordinator.

bethjarrett.com/I started scrapbooking 7 years ago when a work colleague asked me to go to an 'album party'. I thought that was a little strange in this day and age of CD's, but I said yes as I wanted to be sociable. Then she told me it would cost $10 and to bring 8 - 10 photos. Ahhh, the penny dropped, photo albums! I enjoy scrapbooking. I like to think that not only am I preserving a photo, but also a memory and a story. I like to stretch my creativity and make embellishments using such mediums as stamps, felt and fabric and chipboard. I am also a bit of a frugal scrapper and will use the same sheet of patterned paper for various layouts!

And I love it...but am going to start my own creative business someday. I spend most of my time letterpressing, baking cookies, watching DVRed fabulousness and checking my email. I love wine. I wish I did yoga more. I make about 40 to-do lists per day. I scrap ideas much more often than events. My favorite ink pad is VersaMark.

I love the ability to record and preserve memories for my family as well as the ability to create. I love to see how my scrapbooking style has evolved over the years and right now, it's a little bit of everything. J My family - husband, Jonathan and kids, Ethan and Hannah - & God are my inspiration. I'm very blessed indeed to have a warm and wonderful family. We were also given an awesome opportunity recently to relocate to beautiful Switzerland. Our family will be here till end 2008 and it's been a blast thus far.

I started scrapbooking shortly after Sarah was born. It started off as just a hobby and very quickly turned into my passion. I'm on the SEI design team and in October of 2007 I taught on behalf of SEI at the Canada's Crop For Kids in Winnipeg Manitoba. I also do a lot of freelance design work for various scrapbook magazines and companies. When I'm not cutting and pasting, I keep busy playing with my girls, walking/running with Lacey (my German Shepherd/Boarder Collie), and watching movies and HGTV with my husband.
