Until a couple of weeks ago the ranunculus didn't have much competition as my favorite flower, but then I saw a Martha Stewart show with a segment devoted to Dahlias, and they showed these ones that are all puffy and ball-like, and I just think they're adorable!

I love flowers...but I tend to be a fan of the less-than-obvious choice. What are some of YOUR favorite flowers?
